Amy Duncan, founder of The Ink Refinery, approached me to create a short promotional film to showcase the heart of her Brisbane-based design studio. Specialising in handcrafted wedding and event stationery, Amy’s work blends illustration, hand-lettering, and fine paper craft with a strong sense of personal storytelling.

The aim was to create something warm, authentic, and visually refined—something that felt as bespoke as the work she produces. Filmed on location at her studio, we captured the intricate, tactile nature of her process, from ink and brush strokes to finished invitations and event details.

The final piece is quiet and considered, highlighting the care, craft, and creative intent that go into every project she takes on. It’s not just a glimpse into what Amy makes, but why she makes it.
