Matt, the owner of Brisbane’s boutique guitar effects store Pedal Empire, approached me to help get a new video series off the ground. The goal was to highlight the strange and wonderful world of independent pedal makers, while capturing the creative spirit that defines the community.

I collaborated with Matt on the initial pilot episode, helping shape the format, tone, and visual style of the series. Filmed in-store with a three-camera setup, we captured a mix of performance, conversation, and detailed product shots to create a vibrant and immersive viewing experience.

One of the early episodes featured the legendary Daniel Steinhardt from That Pedal Show. His insight and passion helped bring depth and credibility to the content, making it a strong introduction to what the series aims to offer. The final result feels as boutique and hands-on as the pedals themselves, built for tone lovers and curious players alike.
