I was approached by Kelly King, owner of Eagle’s Nest Retreat, to create a film and photo suite that would support the relaunch of her stunning luxury property in northern New South Wales. The goal was to capture the warmth and vibrancy of the space, highlighting its appeal for families, couples, and private group getaways.

To ensure the film felt natural and authentic, I stayed at the property for three nights with my family and close friends. This allowed me to document real moments, including kids exploring, meals shared, and quiet time by the fire. Over the stay, I captured around 7 hours of footage using a Sony A7III and DJI Mini 4 Pro, covering everything from interior design and panoramic views to the flow of daily life in and around the retreat.

The final film blends cinematic shots with intimate, unscripted moments. The colour grading is bright and rich, giving the piece a welcoming, uplifting tone that reflects the spirit Kelly envisioned for Eagle’s Nest.
