Taste: The Flavour of Life
2 part doco featured on Apple TV + Prime
Project —
For Taste: The Flavor of Life, I worked as the sole 3D Designer, Animator, and Art Director, creating a series of abstract 3D sequences for a two-part documentary exploring how the tongue works. The work translated scientific ideas into visually engaging motion, using stylised animation to bring an internal biological process to the screen in a clear and cinematic way.
The project focused on building custom 3D scenes that could sit within the broader documentary format while adding a strong visual identity to the storytelling. As the sole creative across design, animation, and art direction, I developed the sequences from concept through to final execution, shaping a cohesive visual language that balanced abstraction with explanation.
